As you might have already noticed, core muscle workouts have only become popular in the last few years, however they have always been a huge part of bodybuilding and fitness routines. If you are not fully aware of the exercises that fall into the category of core muscle workouts here is a quick reference. Any workout that uses any of the lower abdominal or lower back muscles are classified as core workouts. With all the new workout programs available today, people are starting to realize the importance of these exercises, as they should because these exercises are the “core” of every one of these programs.
